Belt Width

800 mm to 2400 mm, selected based on raw material type, lump size (up to 300 mm for ROM ore), and required throughput for blast furnace or sinter plant feed.

Belt Speed

1.5 m/s to 5.0 m/s, with variable speed drives on proportioning conveyors feeding sinter plants and blast furnace stock houses.

Conveying Capacity

Up to 8,000 TPH for iron ore handling in raw material yards; sinter plant feed conveyors sized for continuous proportioned delivery.

Maximum Incline Angle

Up to 18° standard; ore and coke conveyors to blast furnace top house may use steeper angles with textured or cleated belt surfaces.

Drive Power

100 kW to 3,000 kW; tandem drive arrangements with VFDs on long-span ore yard conveyors handling peak reclaiming rates.

Belt Type

Super abrasion-resistant (SAR) grade belting for iron ore; heat-resistant grades near sinter plant and coke oven battery; steel cord for long-centre, high-tension applications.

Raw Material Yard to Sinter Plant
Proportioning conveyors reclaim iron ore fines, coke breeze, limestone, and dolomite from the raw material yard and deliver a blended feed to the sinter plant mixing drum.
Ore and Coke to Blast Furnace Stock House
High-incline conveyors transport sinter, pellets, lump ore, and coke from screening stations to the blast furnace stock house bins for skip or belt charging.
Sponge Iron Product Handling
Hot DRI (direct reduced iron) is cooled and conveyed from the rotary kiln discharge to product storage and briquetting systems via heat-resistant enclosed conveyors.
